Lower Shaft Removal Kit

Tired of that leaking lower shaft seal getting oil in the torque tube and making a mess?

Change your shaft seal quickly after removal. Need to inspect, repair or change out a part of the lower shaft? No problem.

Pull out the lower shaft assembly easily with this adapter kit. Simply thread it on to any 3 lb. slide hammer, as pictured with 1/2-20 thread, and get after it.

Fits winters swivel and dmi swivel style couplers. I have used this setup for years! Works perfect every time.

I have even removed a lower shaft while a rear is still in the car.

(1) Kit includes (1 of each) a laser precision cut steel washer, steel bolt and adapter. (Slide hammer and retaining clip not included)

Pro tips: use a spare retaining ring clip and keep with the tool for future use. Also, can reinstall the lower shaft with this kit. Just line up the splines and gently slide hammer the opposite way till it’s fully seated.
